Baldwin Donates $250,000 For a Second Time
Alec Baldwin announced that he has donated another $250,000 to a Hamptons based organization, this time the Hamptons International Film Festival. Mr. Baldwin currently serves on the board of the Hamptons International Film Festival and has been on it since the festival began.
In may, Alec Baldwin donated $250,000 to Guild Hall in East Hampton, totaling a grand figure of $500,000 in cash to arts in the Hamptons, as well as the priceless amount of attention he draws to the arts in the area.
The film festival begins in early October.
Last night he hosted the Guild Hall’s SummerDocs series in East Hampton, which started with the film, “Page One: Inside the New York Times.”
He spoke on stage after the film with New York Times editor Bill Keller and reporter David Carr for a Q&A.
