Writer's Win In East Hampton
I got to hand it to the Writer’s for pulling off a victory yesterday. And yes, at one point I was on base, and I have to show some respect to Alec Baldwin who played all 9 inning of the game in right field (normally he just takes a few swings at the end of the game and leaves early).
Mike Pellman hit a powerful homerun for the writers and the MVP of the game went to shortstop David Baer. Mike Lupica suffered an injury to his calf early on in the game, but suffered through and played the rest of the game, he even refused to get a pinch runner during a brief argument with writer’s coach Ken Auletta.
