Some news that caught my eye this morning is the highly important study that was conducted by University of California in San Diego scientists confirmed that chocolate is good for you and contributes to weight loss.
I knew that I was always doing a body good getting my little chocolate doughnuts for breakfast. I have a feeling that now that Spring is here in the Hamptons, we’re going to be seeing a lot people going on the chocolate diet. Which is a very strict diet where you’re allowed to eat as much as you want, so long that it’s only chocolate.
From BBC News – The findings come from a study of nearly 1,000 US people that looked at diet, calorie intake and body mass index (BMI) – a measure of obesity.
It found those who ate chocolate a few times a week were, on average, slimmer than those who ate it occasionally.
Even though chocolate is loaded with calories, it contains ingredients that may favour weight loss rather than fat synthesis, scientists believe.
