Many “famous farmers” from the East End attended the Small Farm Summit featuring Will Allen and Chef Ann Cooper at Hofstra last Saturday, including Scott Chaskey (Quail Hill), Jeff Negron and Creek Iversen (Sylvestor Manor). But only Dale Haubrich and Bette Lacina from Sag Harbor were asked to consult on fellow attendee Isabella Rossellini’s planned organic garden in Bellport. Haubrich and Lacina’s iconic farmstand re-opens this Saturday, April 21 on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike (next to Bay Burger).
