East Hampton High School's "Manly Men" Brings Down The House
Chorus teacher David Douglas is still very much keeping it real at East Hampton High School, and if there is anybody on the planet that was an inspiration for the chorus teacher in then Fox Television Show “Glee”, then I’d have to give it to Mr. Douglas. I can’t say enough good things about this guy.
You can see in the video below the quality, talent, training and professionalism that Mr. Douglas and his students bring to live performances. The group below is known as “Manly Men” and they played last night at the high school at 7 p.m. to a screaming crowd. The high school Jazz Band, Camerata, Manly Men and Chanterelle, the Chamber Ensemble and the Far East Fiddle Club also performed.
Who are these guys? E-mail me their names so I can publish them here.
Just another example of how well our schools on the East End are run, the teachers who deeply care about their students, and the great kids and young adults that they produce. Awesome.
