Sam Anderson, 13, Is A Hamptons Hero For Hospitalized Children
Hamptons resident Sam Anderson, who is just 13 years old (and is the son of famed fitness guru Tracy Anderson) is a Hamptons hero. The young man is actively involved in Game Knights Hamptons which is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to engage and distract children who may be sad, bored, and lonely while hospitalized. The organization collects new and used video game devices, DVD players, DVD Movies and iPads, and encourage financial donations to purchase new electronic devices, movies and games.
Game Knights Hamptons charity was formed in the winter of 2011 because they wanted to help children who were receiving medical care in a hospital. Game Knights Hamptons’ distribution efforts are focused on the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital Child Life Program.
Game Knights Hamptons will soon be making their 3rd Donation to Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. This seems like one of those great charities that benefits people in the community directly here, which I think really makes an impact on people. Congrats Sam on your hard work. Keep it up.
