Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein Buys A New House In Bridgehampton
Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein has bought a 7 bedroom home on Ocean Road in Bridgehampton. The home was listed for $32.5 million.
Mr. Blankfein is arguably the most powerful man in finance today. He bought the home from Matthew Mallow who works as General Counsel at Blackrock Incorporated, one of the largest investment funds in the world. Lloyd is not going to be at his house tomorrow because he is going to go to the White House to meet President Barack Obama who is going to try to get his support for his plan to raise revenue and cut spending for the government in order to avert the fiscal cliff.
Like everyone else, Mr. Blankfein really likes the Hamptons, his home in Sagaponack is listed for sale for $14 million and has been on the market for five years.
His new property is not located on the ocean but it is absolutely fabulous. The estate has a main home that is 8000 square feet and is of classic design. If you’ve ever done one of the garden tours in the Hamptons you’ve most likely already checked this place out. The house was listed with Saunders.
