Warmer Water Brings a Great White Shark Near The Hamptons

A 3,456 lb great white shark named Mary Lee, that was tagged in Cape Cod on September 17, 2012, made it’s way up near the coast of the Hamptons on Tuesday according OCEARCH, an organization that produces groundbreaking data on the biology and health of sharks in conjunction with basic research on shark life, history and migration.
If you look at the picture above, that tracks the shark via GPS, it’s pretty darn amazing how close this animal got to our shores.
