Enjoying some time off in the Hamptons, the couple reportedly ate at the nearby La Fondita Mexican restaurant with their children and a few friends and then made their way over to Amagansett Square for a showing of Wreck It Ralph at the Hamptons Drive-In.
The fifth episode of Schreiber’s new Showtime hit Ray Donovan aired Sunday and the show continues to entertain. In the show, Schreiber plays Hollywood fixer Ray Donovan, a role he describes as one of the most complicated characters of his career, and his performance is aces. Donovan is doing the dirty work for Hollywood’s elite, and he’s not averse to getting a little blood on his hands, yet he clearly has a heart, as evidenced when he stops a pre-op transsexual’s blackmail scheme for a client, then returns to give her enough money for a sex change operation.
It’s these nuanced emotions that make Donovan a compelling character. Add Jon Voight as his equally complicated father and nemesis Mickey, and the show really begins to explore some interesting territory. Give it a chance if you haven’t already. (We’ve included a clip featuring the transsexual blackmail episode below.)
Meanwhile, Watts plays Princess Diana in Oliver Hirschbiegel‘s upcoming film Diana, about the last years of the princess’ life.
