Last Sunday, July 7, activist and Academy Award winning actress Susan Sarandon helped kick off the new pop-up location for SPiN NY in the garden of c/o The Maidstone hotel in East Hampton.
Sarandon, who is a co-founder of SPiN NY—also located at 48 East 23rd street in Manhattan—was joined her boyfriend and fellow co-founder, Jonathan Bricklin. While sipping champagne on the lovely Sunday afternoon, Sarandon, Bricklin and members of the Maidstone staff broke in the ping-pong table and declared it open.
Dubbed a “ping-pong social club,” SPiN Galactic is involved with all types of charities and aims to connect people through the game of ping-pong. This unique, interactive social club featuring ping-pong tables has locations in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Toronto and Dubai, and they are actively seeking new franchise partners.
The pop-up table at c/o The Maidstone will be open and available for guests through Labor Day. As a New York City local, Sarandon has been a guest of the Hamptons many times, so keep an eye out this summer!
Check out SPiN Galactic at c/o The Maidstone boutique hotel, 207 Main Street, East Hampton, 631-324-5006.
