The Dan Bailey Tribe at the Wolffer Estate Farm Stand
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Join Dan Bailey Tribe for sunsets at the Wolffer Wine Stand and enjoy free music with a glass of local wine as the sun sinks over the vineyard. Music from 6-8 pm. The Wine Stand is located on Route 27. In the event of rain the show will be moved indoors to the main Vineyard at 139 Sagg Road. 631-537-5106.
“EVE” Playing at Wainscott Studios

Neo-Political Cowgirls, under the direction of Kate Mueth, is bringing back their interactive, theatrical production “EVE” (for mature audiences) for 12 performances this Summer. LongHouse Reserve will host a spectacular evening of art and music on its sprawling property. The extravaganza will celebrate the opening of two anticipated exhibits: internationally acclaimed Chinese contemporary artist and dissident Ai Weiwei’s Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads: Gold and top emerging Cuban sculptor Yoan Capote’s RERUM ALTER NATURA. Tour Jackson Pollack’s Family Home In East Hampton And Then Paint Like He Did
10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
All ages are invited to take a guided tour of the studio/home of artists Jackson Pollock and his wife Lee Krasner. Finish the adventure with a hands on action painting workshop with a canvas that you get to take home. $25 per person includes all supplies.

The Montauk Playhouse “Diamond in the Rough” Gala

The annual Diamond in the Rough Benefit Gala for the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation has truly become “Montauk’s Party of the Year”! This lavish summer fundraising event takes place under a grand tent on the Playhouse grounds and features a lively cocktail hour, live music, silent and live auctions, and dinner and dancing. Honorees Drew Doscher; Andy Harris and Sally Richardson; and Dennis and Rosanna Sisco will be honored for their philanthropic commitment to the community. Southampton Hospital’s 55th Annual Summer Party, “Forward to the Future”
6:30 p.m.– 11 p.m.
Jean Shafiroff, Audrey Gruss, Allen & Co., Barclays and Douglas Elliman chair this Forward to the Future themed summer party where attendees will enjoy dinner by Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs and dancing to the Alex Donner Orchestra. For the first time, the event will be held at the 75,000-square-foot Art Southampton pavilion, to be transformed by desigher Antony Todd, complete with hard flooring and air conditioning. Chuck Scarborough will emcee the 55th Annual Summer Party to benefit Southampton Hospital’s Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department and the new Audrey and Martin Gruss Heart and Stroke Center. The East Hampton Sand Castle Contest
9 a.m. sharp
At Atlantic Avenue Beach in Amagansett individuals and groups of all ages will be participating in the Annual East Hampton Sand Castle Contest. Event is for all ages, including adults. The money raised through registration fees, sale of the tee-shirts, merchandise and other donations go to helping a variety of charitable causes promoted and assisted by The Clamshell Foundation. Dan’s 41st Annual Kite Fly is headed our way! This summer we expect our largest Kite Flying crowd ever. With scads of wild wind structures, soaring over the water, at scenic Sagg Main Beach in Sagaponack, on Sunday, August 4, 2013. You’ll want to BE THERE with the family for this perennial favorite Hamptons activity. This wildly popular, family oriented event happens with the support of generous sponsors. Chosen as a TOP 50 event by Long Island Newsday, Dan’s Kite Fly is proud to feature some of the best companies and organizations on the East End. Without the help of generous sponsors and tireless volunteers, Dan’s would not be able to hold this annual community event.
