Southampton SeptemberFest 2013 Events Schedule
The third annual Southampton SeptemberFest, celebrating all things fall in Southampton Village, is this weekend, September 27 to 29.
Friday, September 27
6:30 p.m. – Kick-Off Party
Agawam Park
Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks perform. Enjoy local wine and craft beer along with delicacies provided by local gourmet food trucks. Your attendance helps fund SeptemberFest and charities supported by Southampton Rotary Club. Tickets available at the Southampton Chamber of Commerce and on the Southampton Cultural Center website under the “Buy Tickets” tab. The event lasts until 10 p.m. $30 in advance or $40 at the door.
Saturday, September 28
10 a.m. – Juried Art Show
Southampton Cultural Center
Paintings, prints, mixed-media, photography and sculpture. Open until 6pm.
11 a.m. – Harvest Day Fair
Rogers Mansion grounds
The Southampton Historic Museum plays host to historical activities including 19th-century Civil War re-enactors, period demonstrations and artisans along with sacred drumming by the Shinnecock Nation. Runs to 5 p.m.
11 a.m. – Wells Fargo Stagecoach Rides
Agawam Park
Take a ride back in time on board the world famous Wells Fargo stagecoach—for free. Rides end at 2 p.m..
11 a.m. – Street Music – Vanessa Trouble
Main Street
11 a.m. – Street Music – Jim Turner

Acclaimed guitar and harmonica player will perform until 4 p.m.
11 a.m. – Street Music – Mick Hargreaves

Don’t miss a foot stomping, heart pumping mix of Mick’s American pop/rock. Performances end at 5 p.m
11 a.m. – Friends of the Library Book Sale
Southampton Center
Buy a book to support the Rogers Memorial Library. Through 4 p.m.
11 a.m. – Street Music – Nick Kerzner

11 a.m. – Farmers’ Market
Southampton Center grounds
Vendors offer local products including vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, shellfish, beef, pork, poultry, fudge, olive oils, marinades, jams, spice rubs, sauces, etc. Also includes homemade wares from local artisans. Open until 4 p.m.
11 a.m. – Children’s Crafts
Southampton Center
Face painting, airbrush tattoos, and pumpkin painting. Ends at 4pm
11 a.m. – Antique Farm Machinery Exhibition
Windmill Lane Triangle
Tractors, engines and trucks by the Long Island Antique Power Association. On display and running to 5 p.m.
11:30 a.m. – Jester Jim
Southampton Center
Comedy, juggling and magic is the name of the game for this entertainer. Performances at 11:30 AM, 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM.
Noon – Keith Leaf
Village Hall
Stilt walking, juggling, balloon twisting, magic and special shows. Performances from noon to 5 p.m.

Noon – Chowder Contest

Which chowder is “Best Of The Hamptons?” Decide for yourself. Test over a dozen of the best chowders from some of the finest restaurants and cafes in Southampton. Ends at 2 p.m. Come early. The chowder goes fast.
Noon – Maniac Pumpkin Carvers
Agawam Park
Committed to advancing the art of pumpkin carving by taking the classic pastime to a whole new level. Demonstration ends at 5 p.m.
