Louis C.K.'s 'Louie' Season 4 Films in Southampton This Week
Comedian, actor and director Louis C.K. is in the Hamptons Thursday and Friday filming for the new season of his FX television series Louie.
C.K.’s Pig Newton production company booked the Coopers Beach parking lot both days for a staging area and for crew parking. (The lot and beach are still open to the public.)
On Thursday, Louie will be filmed at a home on Meadow Lane, according to Southampton Village Hall. Then on Friday, there will be a driving scene shot between 1820 Meadow Lane and Shinnecock East County Park at the western end of Meadow Lane. On the second day of filming, two Southampton Village police officers are retained for security and directing traffic.
Louie Season Four is expected to premiere in the spring.
Louis C.K. has performed his stand-up act locally at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center and Bay Street Theatre.
