Pink Floyd's Roger Waters Is Making a New Record
Hamptons resident Roger Waters, of Pink Floyd fame, is recording a new album, Rolling Stone reports, his first rock record in more than two decades.
Waters told the magazine he just finished a demo. The 55-minute-long album is designed like a radio play. “It has characters who speak to each other, and it’s a quest,” he said. “It’s about an old man and a young child trying to figure out why they are killing the children.”
The 70-year-old rocker just finished the three-year Wall tour in September and has not decided if he will support his concept album with a new tour, Rolling Stone reports.
Water’s last rock album, Amused to Death, was released in 1992. In 2005 he put out Ça Ira, on opera.
