Riverhead’s Suffolk Theater has a new director of marketing: fourth-generation local Diane Tucci
Tucci holds a degree in business and marketing and has a background in media, with 20 years of experience.
Her tenure at the theater started as the resident photographer before renovations began, photographing the construction from inception to present day. She’s experienced in studio lighting and portrait photography and is a seasoned performance and event photographer.
Tucci has worked as a freelance art director and marketing consultant for several corporations and individuals, including jazz legend Al Di Meola.
Among her tasks in her new position are planning and designing of all marketing materials as well as serving as the house photographer. Other duties include managing social media and the theater’s website, working with print and radio advertisers, planning and budgeting marketing production, planning marketing strategies for both the venue and the shows and working with all staff members in communication marketing strategies.
Tucci was born and raised in Riverhead and enjoyed shows at the theater in her childhood before it lay dormant for many years. Bob and Dianne Castaldi reopened the theater in 2013.
“I have a great respect for the hard work and dedication of owners Bob and Dianne Castaldi,” Tucci said.
