Bridgehampton Teen Held on $500,000 for Murder Charge
Brandon Davis, a 19-year-old Bridgehampton man accused of shooting a Patchogue teen to death at a Medford auto body shop on Christmas Day 2013, pleaded not guilty to murder Tuesday during his arraignment at Suffolk County Criminal Court in Riverside.
Davis was ordered held in lieu of $500,000 cash bail or a $1 million bond.
Suffolk County Police Department homicide detectives arrested Davis on March 7. Authorities say he and codefendants Cesar Figueroa and Tasheem Carter, both 19-year-old Mastic residents, entered Whitestar MTR on December 25 to commit a robbery. Taliek Bristel, also 19, was shot during the confrontation and died at the scene, according to the district attorney’s office.
Davis is scheduled to return to court April 23.
