There are fewer than 40 days until Memorial Day weekend, and while we at Dan’s Papers can’t wait, we also know there are many things we have to squeeze in during the next few weeks on the East End, lest we lose our chance with all that summer brings. We know that if we don’t get out and do these now, we’ll have to wait until after Labor Day before we try again…and so will you!
We continue our countdown of things to do before Memorial Day weekend on the East End with #39: Tour the Vineyards
Now is a great time to go on a tasting tour of East End vineyards.
Sure, you can hit up one or two vineyards on a summer Saturday and have lots of fun, but the crowds will force you to call it a day after that. Pre-Memorial Day, not only will servers have more time to give your group individual attention, there will be less traffic for your designated driver between wineries.
Stop day dreaming about vacationing in California’s wine country and instead take a weekend to sip Long Island wine up and down both forks.
Come back tomorrow for 50 Things to Do Before Memorial Day in the Hamptons #38.
