Spielberg, Bon Jovi Join Ice Bucket Challenge
Two more Hamptons celebrities have taken on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge—East Hampton residents Steven Spielberg and Jon Bon Jovi.
Spielberg accepted the challenge from his fellow partner on the film The Hundred Foot Journey Oprah Winfrey. He in turn Star Wars creator George Lucas, Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg and new Star Wars director J.J. Abrams.
Bon Jovi was challenged by hockey’s Jay McKee. The musician nominated his Bon Jovi bandmates David Bryan, Tico Torres and Richie Sambora.
Christie Brinkley, Kelly Ripa, Jimmy Fallon and many more Hamptons celebrities have taken the ALS ice bucket challenge, in which those who are challenged have 24 hours to donate to ALS or pour a bucket of ice water on their heads.
