Amy Zerner's Fashion Sense: Wrap it Up
Fabulous scarves and wraps help to define the season. You can tie them around casually or accessorize your festive evening-wear. Shawls and stoles are accessories that most people already have, are relatively inexpensive to acquire and—when done correctly—can be a very easy way to enhance your outfit.
Wraps are never so fashionable as they are in the fall season. Here are some cool ways to wear your autumnal wrappings. The main, and most common, way would be around your neck or shoulders, but I have some other suggestions:
1. Bohemian: If you have a wider, longer scarf, put the ends behind your neck then wrap—it should end at the front.
2. Chic: If you have a thin scarf, you can fold it in half, put it around your neck, and then put the end that’s not folded through that loop.
3. Glam: Wrap a long scarf around your neck and leave one end in front and the other in the back for an elegant look.
4. Cool: Another thing you can do is use scarves as belts—either around your stomach and over a shirt, or through your belt loops.
