Matt Lauer to Host, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga to Perform at Christmas in Rockefeller Center
Water Mill’s Matt Lauer will co-host Christmas in Rockefeller Center with his Today colleagues Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales on December 3, and Hamptons fans Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga will be among the performers.
Carey—the best-selling female artist of all time—will open the show with her 1994 holiday hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

Gaga will perform a duet with Tony Bennett. Also in the performance lineup are Prince Royce, Darius Rucker, Cyndi Lauper, Billy Porter, Seth MacFarlane, Sara Bareilles, Idina Menzel, Pentatonix, LeAnn Rimes and Trisha Yearwood.
The Rockettes will also be a highlight of the show.
The 82nd annual holiday extravaganza will feature an 85-foot tall Norway Spruce from Hemlock Township, Pennsylvania. It is approximately 90 years old and weighs approximately 13 tons.
The spoecial will broadcast live December 3 from 8 to 9 p.m., with some NBC affiliates airing an extra hour beginning at 7 p.m.
