Police Seek Info on North Fork Bacon Burglary
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who broke into North Fork Bacon, a restaurant in Wading River, last month.
An unknown man wearing a hooded sweatshirt, gloves, pants, and sneakers entered North Fork Bacon on January 24, 2015, at approximately 12:30 a.m. and removed an undetermined amount of cash from the register.
The suspect was captured on surveillance camera on foot in the area prior to entering the location and may have been seen by passing motorists.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, police say.
