$5,000 Reward Offered to Find Person Responsible for School Bomb Threats

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 cash for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons who made multiple bomb threats toward Riverhead schools in January.
“Four bomb threats were reported during the month of January at Bishop McGann Mercy High School and Riverhead High School,” Crime Stoppers stated. “Bomb threats were reported at Bishop McGann Mercy High School on January 14, 15, and 30. A bomb threat was reported at Riverhead High School on January 15.”
Crime Stoppers is asking anyone with information to anonymously call 1-800-220-TIPS or call the Riverhead Police Department directly at 631-727-4500 extension 332 or 327.
