Dan Rattiner's Fourth 'In the Hamptons' Memoir to Be Published August 1
In the Hamptons 4Ever, the fourth in the series of memoirs from Dan’s Papers founder Dan Rattiner, is set to be released August 1, 2015.
Rattiner started the series in 2008 with In the Hamptons: My Fifty Years with Farmers, Fishermen, Artists, Billionaires, and Celebrities. The newest volume is published by SUNY Press.
In addition to original material about Rattiner’s adventures and the people he was met while editing Dan’s Papers, In the Hamptons 4Ever will include a number of his infamous hoax articles that have played a big role in his weekly publication, such as The Lions of East Hampton, The Hamptons Subway, the Great Ecuadorian Eel and the McKenzie Seagull Whistle.
In the Hamptons is available in paperback. In the Hamptons Too (2010) and Still in the Hamptons (2012) are available in hardcover. All volumes are also available as e-books.
Public readings will be held in August, September and October.
