Mariah Carey Debuts "Infinity" Before Vegas Residency Begins
Hamptons visitor Mariah Carey‘s new single, “Infinity,” from her upcoming album, #1 To Infinity, was released for download on Wednesday, April 29.
The Hamptons’ favorite Elusive Chanteuse shared the song’s accompanying lyric video (scroll down to watch) in Las Vegas on Monday, April 27, during a special welcome event at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, where she will begin her hotly anticipated residency and concert series, Mariah #1 to Infinity, on May 6.
Comprising 18 dates between May 6 and July 26, Mariah #1 to Infinity will feature the pop superstar performing all 18 of the Billboard chart-topping, #1 hits—17 of them written by Carey—that helped her become the bestselling female artist of all time, with more than 200 million records sold and more number one hits than any other solo artist, ever.
To celebrate the residency and landmark concerts, Carey arrived at her welcome party, and legions of screaming fans, in a pink 1936 Auburn Boattail with 18 mobile billboards in tow, each of them representing one of her hit songs.
“Infinity,” now available for download on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Google Play, is the last track and the only new song on Carey’s #1 To Infinity album, which includes her 18 number one hits. The album will be available in stores on Monday, May 18.
