Navy Beach Restaurant’s Third Annual Fundraiser Honors Veterans
Montauk’s Navy Beach Restaurant is hosting its third annual fundraiser in support of Navy SEALs and their families.
On Saturday, June 13, from 4 to 6 p.m., Navy Beach will host a cocktail party to benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation.
For a $40 entry donation, guests will be able to enjoy live music by Nancy Atlas, wines provided by Turquoise Life, beer from Brooklyn Brewery and signature light bites as well as mingle with retired Navy SEALs and Navy SEAL Foundation representatives.
In honor of Montauk’s naval history and the continuance of its partnership with the Navy SEAL Foundation, Navy Beach is aiding the Naval Special Warfare community.
“Navy Beach is honored to support the Navy SEAL Foundation for the third year in a row, and to build upon the results we achieved together in 2014,” Navy Beach partner Frank Davis says. “We feel fortunate to be able to put our efforts towards assisting the Navy SEAL Foundation ‘programs with purpose’ and in a small way supporting these warriors and their families.”
The Navy SEAL Foundation mission is to provide immediate and ongoing support to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families. The foundation focuses mainly on warrior support and family services, educational opportunities, tragedy assistance, survivor support and legacy preservation.
From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, a donation of $1 will be added to each dining check in support of the Navy SEAL Foundation.
“Navy Beach’s historical and geographical ties to the Navy offer the perfect backdrop to both celebrate and support the Foundation by raising funds for these elite, brave warriors and their families,” Davis says.
Donations may be made online at navybeach.com.
Following the event, Navy Beach will be open for regular dinner service; reservations are recommended. RSVP to [email protected].
Navy Beach is located at 16 Navy Road in Montauk.
