The Platinum Best of the Best winner for The South Fork is Citarella (2 Pantigo Road, East Hampton; 631-726-3636, citarella.com). A community market, Citarella offers a large selection of fresh seafood and aged prime meat along with gourmet groceries.
Tony’s Asian Fusion (9650 Route 25, Mattituck; 631-298-2158, tonysasianfusion.com) is the North Fork platinum winner for the Best of the Best sushi. Located in Mattituck, the restaurant offers customers the choice of not just one but several styles of Asian food. Tony’s gathers Chinese, Thai, Sushi, Hibachi and Japanese food together into one convenient eating locale. Tony’s is open seven days a week and offers free delivery.
Sakura (204 Front Street, Greenport; 631-477-3888, sakuragreenport.com) received the gold for North Fork sushi. Whether customers want to dine in or want to order take out by using Sakura’s website, a wide variety of Japanese dishes are offered on the menu.
Westlake Fish House (352 W. Lake Drive, Montauk; 631-668-3474, westlakefishhouse.com) is the winner of the gold Best of the Best sushi on the South Fork. Try the “Westlake” with avocado, spicy tuna, shiso inside, fluke and sea bass or “The End” with mango, cucumber and avocado with seaweed topper.
Matsulin (131 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays; 631-728-8838, matsulin.com) grabbed the silver for the South Fork. Their menu features special dishes from Malaysia, China, Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The silver recipient on the North Fork is the Blue Canoe Oyster Bar and Grill (104 Third Street, Greenport; 631-477-6888, bluecanoeoysterbar.com) located in downtown Greenport. With a large array of food choices and special seafood dishes, sushi can surely be enjoyed along with the view of the Greenport Harbor just off the boardwalk.
The bronze Best of the Best sushi for the South Fork was Suki Zuki (688 Montauk Highway, Water Mill; 631-726-4600), a Japanese restaurant and caterer located in Water Mill. Suki Zuki specializes in serving fresh sushi and grill specialties.
