Outdoor Movies at Second House

Community Church Women’s Guild Rummage Sale
SATURDAY, AUGUST 1: Weekly rummage sales on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m.–noon are held at the community church through Labor Day. Browse through everything you would expect at a rummage sale: white elephant, toys, books, clothing and more. Located at 850 Montauk Highway, just east of town on the right. Montauk Playhouse Gala
SATURDAY, AUGUST 1: Join the Montauk Playhouse from 7–11 p.m. for an outdoor, tented event that will feature dinner, dancing, drinks, music by The Nancy Atlas Project, and live and silent auctions. Featured in the auctions are artwork, items and experiences from the Gala’s 70-plus supporting artists. This year’s Gala at the Montauk Playhouse honors “Montauk’s Own” visual and performing artists for the vibrant character and culture they bring to the town’s community. Tickets to the event are $350. Funds raised will go toward the Montauk Playhouse’s development efforts to create a vibrant community center for recreation, human services, arts programming and events. Summer Film Series at the Montauk Beach House

Gurney’s Oceanfront Lobster Bake
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5: The Beach Club at Gurney’s hosts a ticketed oceanfront Lobster Bake every Wednesday evening throughout July and August. From 5–9 p.m., patrons will enjoy fresh lobster as they relax on the resort’s expansive private beach that captures the nostalgic charm of the “endless American summer.” Tickets are $55 for adults and $20 for children ages 10 and under.
