Reward Offered in Riverhead Gas Station Burglary

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Riverhead Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who burglarized a store in Riverhead in July.
A person broke the glass door to the American Gas Station, located at 1427 Main Road, on July 25 at 2:10 a.m. and stole approximately 20 cartons of cigarettes, coins and lottery tickets.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, authorities said.
