'This Is Montauk' Video Promotes Family Friendly Side of The End
The Montauk Chamber of Commerce recently released a video, titled “This Is Montauk,” portraying family fun in Montauk to promote vacations on The End.
“This film shows the true Montauk for visitors,” says Laraine Creegan, the executive director of the chamber. Creegan says chamber members want others to see and experience Montauk the way they do. “It is a beautiful community with a unique character and a very special quality of life. We are happy to share this magical place with our visitors and guests and encourage everyone when they visit to please respect the beauty and character of Montauk, a place we call home.”
According to the chamber, the release date of the video was moved up in response to news that some visitors have disrupted the quality of life in Montauk this summer during late night on weekends.
The video follows a local family—Charles, a commercial fisherman, Abby, a yoga instructor and their three youngsters—enjoying leisure time.
“This is Montauk” is directed by Montauk native James Katsipis with cinematography by Nate Best and James Katsipis and produced by Tauk Is Cheap Productions.
