Party With Dan’s Best of the Best November 13
The Best of the Best night of the year is almost here! Hundreds of thousands of votes were cast in this year’s Dan’s Best of the Best contest, and now we want everyone to come join us—that means you, the readers and voters!—at the biggest party of the season, Dan’s Best of the Best Celebration Concert.
On Friday, November 13, Somethin’ Fresh and Just Groovin’—two of the region’s hottest party bands—will hit the stage at Suffolk Theater with an eclectic mix of disco, R&B, soul and pop tunes, all celebrating this year’s Dan’s Best of the Best winners, nominees and everyone who participated. Somethin’ Fresh, an ’80s freestyle R&B tribute band, counts Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Earth, Wind & Fire among their biggest inspirations. Just Groovin’ plays the best dance music of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s with a seamless set list—and fans who loved their epic performance at this year’s Dan’s Taste of Two Forks event will surely want to see them onstage again!
As we count down to the big night, both bands take a break to share the “bests” of their careers: their inspirations, favorite songs, memorable onstage moments and more.
