President Obama Is Jerry Seinfeld's Next 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' Guest
For the seventh season premiere, East Hampton’s Jerry Seinfeld is bending the rules of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Instead of a comedian, Seinfeld will be joined by President Barack Obama.
In each episode of the web series, Seinfeld takes his guest for a drive in a classic car, and they visit a different diner or cafe for coffee.
Obama has rubbed elbows with a number of comedians during his presidency. In addition to appearing on late night television programs such as The Daily Show and The Tonight Show, Obama recently joined stand-up comic Marc Maron on the WTF Podcast.
The new season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee premieres Wednesday, December 30, on Crackle and at comediansincarsgettingcoffee.com. Future guests this season are Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Kathleen Madigan, Sebastian Maniscalco and Garry Shandling.

Seinfeld recently announced a monthly residency at Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre, a la Billy Joel‘s monthly concerts at Madison Square Garden.
