The National Weather Service reports that the East End could be in for heavy snow this weekend.
A hazardous weather outlook Tuesday says that there is a “growing potential for a major winter storm” lasting from Friday night into Sunday. The storm could produce heavy snow, strong winds and significant coastal flooding.
Snow is likely Friday night, mainly after midnight. Then snow continues to be likely all day Saturday, and before midnight that night. There is a chance of snow Sunday. Things should clear up completely by Monday.
