Alec Baldwin to Be Keynote Speaker at INBOUND Convention
Though Alec Baldwin plays business-savvy characters in film and TV, some would be surprised to learn that he also has plenty of real life business acumen. Because of his roles in business and acting, Baldwin has signed on as a keynote speaker at this year’s INBOUND convention, a four-day marketing and sales event at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on November 8–11.
Baldwin currently hosts Here’s the Thing, a WNYC Studios-produced podcast that has featured compelling interviews with artists, policy makers and performers since 2011. The podcast’s purpose is to hear their stories, what inspires their creations, what decisions changed their careers, and what relationships influenced their work.
In addition to the many successes he’s had on the stage, in film, and as a TV actor, Baldwin serves on the boards of several organizations, including The Hamptons International Film Festival, The New York Philharmonic, The Roundabout Theatre Company and Guild Hall of East Hampton. He continuously supports The Actors Fund and The Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival.
On the INBOUND 2016 board, Baldwin will be alongside business-world icons such as Kim Scott and Gary Vaynerchuk. An author and advisor, Scott wrote Radical Candor: How To Be a Kickass Boss Without Losing your Humanity, and has worked with companies like Twitter, Apple, Google, and Dropbox in the past. An innovator of social media, Vayerchuk is an inventive public speaker, author and host of the #AskGaryVee show, as well as the CEO of VaynerMedia.
Baldwin is the most recent in a line of notable guest speakers.
