Pavão’s work focuses on repetitious and overlapping patterns, playing with geometric forms and texture; August, a resident of Sagaponack, creates pieces that consist of thick, colorful lines and shapes, overlapping or entangled, creating a dizzying web of vibrant colors; Chalem Anderson, a Hamptons regular, creates both realistic landscapes inspired by the local scenery and abstract planes of geometric forms and lines reminiscent of Piet Mondrian.
The exhibition will be on display through July 7 at the Romany Kramoris Gallery, 41 Main Street in Sag Harbor. An opening reception will be held June 18, 4–5:30 p.m. Hours of operation are 11 a.m.–7 p.m., and open later on weekends. kramorisgallery.com
