Shopping for a Good Cause: ARF Designer Show House Returns May 27

Life isn’t ruff for the visitors of the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) Designer Show House! On Saturday, May 27 from 5-8 p.m., top interior designers—including Rachael Ray Home, Irving & Fine for John Rosselli, Tamara Fraser from Worth Interiors and many more—are converting the ARF Thrift & Treasure Shop in Sagaponack into a furnished sale with fabulous finds from the shop as well as designers’ personal collections.

The annual sale and cocktail party will feature eight furnished rooms and one outdoor area curated by top design talent. And all proceeds generated support ARF and their never-ending need to help local dogs and cats find forever homes.

“Now in its seventh year, the ARF Designer Show House is a great kickoff to the summer season!” ARF Board President Lisa McCarthy says. “We salute the designers who have brought such creativity to their assignment, and look forward to seeing everyone,” she continues, adding, “Please bring your friends—it’s a fun way to support the animals.”

The event’s itinerary includes an exclusive preview hour at 5 p.m., followed by a two-hour cocktail reception from 6–8 p.m. After opening night on Saturday, the sale will open to the public on Sunday and Monday, May 28–29.

Many of the designers own dogs adopted from ARF, making the event that much more personal and important for all involved.

Along with enjoying the beautiful interior design and buying items on view, a number of dogs and cats will be available for adoption at the ARF Designer Show House. Guests could end the night with a new living room and a new furry friend!
