LemonARF Stands Are Back in the Hamptons!
The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) has brought back their popular LemonARF Stand club for kids this summer.
LemonARF is an official philanthropic club to engage students in learning and raising money for the ARF Adoption Center by erecting their own lemonade stands in the Hamptons. Last summer, the club for kids raised over $4,000 for ARF’s animals.
ARF offers a free starter kit so area children can set up their own stands. The kit includes an official LemonARF Stand homemade lemonade recipe, a barking cookie recipe, a poster explaining everything about LemonART, a mini bank to collect donations, and cups and buttons with the LemonARF logo that can be displayed all over the stand.
This program encourages kids to have fun and make it each stand their own. Kids can add items such as homemade jewelry or pieces of art to sell. Parents are also encouraged to add the event to their calendar and on their social media.
Founded in 1974, Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons is the leading non-profit animal adoption center on the East End. The program has saved more than 25,000 cats and dogs all over the East End. They are driven by three core motives: compassion, integrity and dedication.
ARF’s Mobile Adoption Van will be out and about this summer as early as Saturday, July 1 with an Adopt-A-thon in East Hampton at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The following day there is a Low Cost Vaccine Clinic & Adoption Event at the ARF Adoption Center from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
