“DreamWorks’ Madagascar Jr.”
When: July 7, 11 a.m./2 p.m.
Where: The Gateway, 215 South Country Road, Bellport
What: Based on the DreamWorks animated film, Madagascar Jr. is a hilarious musical adventure about a group of animals escaping from Central Park Zoo and going on a wild and crazy journey. This event is a Gateway School of the Performing Arts production.

Let’s Get Slimy!
When: July 7, 4 p.m.
Where: Rogers Memorial Library, 91 Coopers Farm Road, Southampton
What: Learn how to make your own slime using nothing but household ingredients. This event is appropriate for kids in grades 6–12.

Pollock Family Drip Painting
When: July 8, 10 a.m.
Where: Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center, 830 Springs Fireplace Road, East Hampton
What: Author and artist Joyce Raimondo will lead this fun workshop. Families will explore the home and studio of Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner, then learn to drip paint and create their own art outdoors on the grounds. Supplies are included. This event is appropriate for ages 4 and up.

Farmer’s Helper
When: July 9, 10 a.m.
Where: The Green School, Sagaponack
What: Come explore The Green School’s eco-friendly farm for a true animal care experience. Learn how to care for horses, pigs, chickens and many more animals. This event is appropriate for ages 3–10.

Neighborhood Nights
When: July 10, 5 p.m.
Where: The Drop Spot, 655 Flanders Road, Flanders
What: Drop your child off for an evening of summer fun and activities. This free program offers music, arts and crafts, basketball, parties, water activities and more. Weather permitting, kids will also be transported to the Southampton Youth Services Recreation Center to use the outdoor swimming pool and game room. This event is appropriate for kids in grades K–4.
