Montauk Parasailing, Father-Son Edition
Ever thought to go parasailing in Montauk? Sure, most consider it the kind of thing you do when on vacation in the Caribbean, or maybe even Lake George, but this activity doesn’t have to be for tourists alone. Montauk is a prime spot for airborne adventures, whether you live here year-round or are just visiting.
We enjoyed this video—recently posted on YouTube by New Jersey’s Caitlyn Sloan—featuring “Rodney and Rodney,” and one very effective selfie stick. With Skydive Long Island now gone from Calverton (though they did reopen in nearby Shirley), the East End has fewer options when it comes to flying without an airplane. Thankfully, parasailing remains one of them.
To get the Rodney and Rodney experience, and a bird’s eye view of Montauk, check out Montauk Parasail, offering flights off the Star Island Yacht Club & Marina dock.
