Cooper Lawrence, developmental psychologist and host of “The Cooper Lawrence Show,” has recently added the release of a dating guide, Been There, Done That, Kept the Jewelry, to her list of accomplishments. Cooper has been featured in New York Daily News, New York Post and Star Magazine and has made appearances on CNN’s “Showbiz Tonight,” FOX’s “FOX and Friends,” CW11’s “Morning News” and NBC’s “The Today Show.”

Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook of Bridgehampton faced each other at Suffolk County Supreme Court for the first time in their divorce case on Wednesday, and reached an amicable, temporary resolution regarding visitation rights of their two children through February. They also agreed to not talk about the divorce or make disparaging remarks about each other to their children.

Hamptonites Katie Couric and Jerry Seinfeld were among the attendees at this year’s Quadrangle Group FourSquare Conference in New York City, where expert panelists from such varied Internet companies as Google, Facebook, Yahoo and IAC/ InterActive Corp. discussed the future of the Internet and what that future would hold for the various companies involved.

The next American Heart Association’s Heart of the Hamptons Gala will honor Mr. Pete Peterson, Sr. Partner of The Blackstone Group, and his wife, Joan Ganz Cooney, producer, media executive, founder of the Children’s TV Network, and founder of “Sesame Street.”

Gosman’s Dock, the 11-acre waterfront Montauk landmark, is for sale. The sale of the property, which includes four restaurants, five retail stores, a commercial dock, a wholesale seafood business, gourmet shops and private houses, will be handled by Brown Harris Stevens.

Amagansett’s Neal Gabler, former movie reviewer for “Sneak Previews” on PBS and author of Walter Winchell and the Culture of Gossip, has recently published his new book, Walt Disney: The Triumph of the American Imagination (Knopf, 816 pages, $35), an insightful look into the life of “Uncle Walt” Disney.

Somers White, the former Mrs. Jonathan Farkas, and Mr. Jonathan Farkas married each other for the second time in their New York City apartment last Friday.

Music Mogul Edgar Bronfman, Jr. has found buyers for two of his three Amagansett properties. Bronfman, who earlier this year purchased a Bridgehampton estate for $31 million, has sold a 5,000-squarefoot five-bedroom home on 1.1 acres for $4.74 million and a vacant 1.2-acre adjacent lot for just over $3 million.

Matthew Broderick’s mother, Patricia Broderick, exhibited a show of her exquisite artwork at the Tibor de Nagy Gallery on Fifth Avenue in New York City last week.

The Laundry has announced their new Chef de Cuisine, Paul LaBue, formerly of Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton and The Beacon in Sag Harbor, who specializes in coal-oven cooking and Italian food.

Island Harvest, Long Island’s Source Authority on Food Rescue, honored Monsignor Thomas Hartman and film, television and stage actor Brian Dennehy at its 13th Annual “Taste of the Harvest Celebration” at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Mineola, which raised over $300,000 to support Island Harvest’s array of programs and services. A silent auction coincided with the gourmet tasting, and was followed by a live auction hosted by New York Islander Clark Gillies.

Atlantic Records founder and Southampton resident Ahmet Ertegun, was in intensive care after falling backstage at the Beacon Theater during the Rolling Stones concert for Bill Clinton’s 60th birthday bash.

Samantha Thavassa, Japan’s trendiest accessories design house featuring the designs of founder Kazumasa Terada, Beyoncé Knowles, Penelope Cruz, Southampton’s Nicky Hilton, and Tinsley Mortimer, will open their flagship United States store this week on Madison Avenue in New York City.

Ingrid Lemme interviewed Hamptonite Jami Floyd, host Court TV’s “Best Defense,” for the Hamptons TV show “The American Dream Show” at Gurney’s Inn. Jami signed autographs after the filming and had a drink with actor Gary Swanson, whose new movie, Whiskey School, is about to be released.

Tony Award-winning and Oscar-nominated composer Stephen Flaherty of North Haven won Chicago’s coveted Joseph Jefferson Award for Best New Musical last week for his latest work, Loving Repeating, based on the writings of Gertrude Stein.

The Vered Gallery in East Hampton will be hosting an auction of works by artists such as Modigliani, Botero, Avery, Picasso and Chagall this week. All proceeds from the auction will go to Literacy Suffolk, Inc., an organization dedicated to improving individual literacy skills in Suffolk County.

Singaporean star and Billboard Dance Chart-topper Sun Ho was recently spotted posing for celebrity photographer Peter McMullen in Southampton and hosting a birthday party for her photographer-friend at the Jaguar Cain Estate.

Steve Boedt, the Belgian fitness star and counterpart of the NBC reality show “The Biggest Loser” will be teaching his tough and exhilarating classes at Summer Kicks Fitness in East Hampton this weekend.

Art by the Children for the Children,” an exhibit curated by Rev. Jeff Prey, his wife, artist Barbara Ernst Prey, and their children Austin and Emily, will be on display this weekend at the First Presbyterian Church of Oyster Bay. Austin and Emily first organized the exhibit at a summer art gallery in Maine, where they raised almost $1,500. All of the proceeds from the sale of the children’s artwork from both exhibitions will go towards programs in Croatia designed to help the children and their families.
