A little over the top with something that sparkles for that special wife/mother is this Raymond C. Yard’s rare collection of Kashmir sapphire jewelry, which are indeed the Rolls Royce of sapphires. The earrings, bracelet and wedding band were designed and manufactured by Yard in the early 1960s. The bracelet measures 7 inches in length, contains 4 Kashmir sapphires weighing approx 750 cts., 12 smaller sapphires weighing 5 cts., and round pear shaped diamonds weighing about 12 cts. The matching earrings are also Kashmir sapphires weighing almost 4 cts., with round, baguette and pear-shaped diamonds. The wedding band is alternating sections of square-cut sapphires and round diamonds in a platinum mounting with engraved edges.
