Another Brush Fire Breaks Out In Manorville
Another brush fire has broken out in Manorville. The fire is being responded to by sevearl fire departments in Suffolk County and is in the viscinicty of a few homes that could get damaged or destroyed. Manorville is currently in a declared state of emergency.
Due to the warm and dry weather, brush fires are currently a real threat to Long Island. The term “brushfire” is completely synomous as the term, “wildfire” or “forrest fire.”
The Long Island Rail Road cancelled two trains between Ronkonkoma and Riverhead.
The current fire is much smaller than the one that destroyed more than 1,000 acres in the same area last week. Witnesses in Southampton have said that they can see smoke from the fire.
