Breaking: Hamptons Fire Departments Responding To Three Large Brush Fires In Suffolk

Three massive fires have broken out on Long Island . Local fire departments are responding.
One is in Melville, one is Manorville and the other is in Ridge, Long Island. Smoke from the fires can be seen from as far east as Southampton.
According to officials, the brush fire is along the north side of the Brookhaven National Laboratory property, just south of Middle Country Road. Due to today’s high winds and low humidity, it has been difficult to control the fires.
The East Hampton, Bridgehampton, Amagansett, Montauk and Springs fire departments have all responded.
