Bloomberg Orders Food, Spurs Player Stephen Jackson Trips
Good thing gameday popcorn hasn’t fallen victim to Mayor Bloomberg‘s health mission! The parttime Hamptons resident attended a New York Knicks game last night and may have accidentally contributed to the team’s win. As reported in the New York Post, the mayor was sitting courtside when he appeared to order some snacks from a waitress. As she bent down, San Antonio Spurs forward Stephen Jackson tripped over her, spraining his ankle. He did not return to the game and the Knicks, who were losing 17-14 at the time of the incident, notched a 100-83 victory.
With a 22-10 record, the Knicks are in first place in the Atlantic Division. Now…can someone please explain what a Knickerbocker is?
