Art, Conservation Advocacy Subject of Friday Radio Program
WPPB’s Going Green radio program will feature guests Anne Seelbach and Kathryn Szoka Friday to discuss how their art and conservation advocacy intersect.
Seelbach’s work is currently featured in Our Troubled Waters, an exhibition curated by Deborah Katz on view at the Alfred van Loen Gallery at the South Huntington Public Library through Feb. 5. The show focuses on the environmental challenges in local waters and includes drawings by Dawn Lee and photographs by Joanne Dumas.
Szoka is a naturalist and fine art photographer known for her Vanishing Landscapes series, which chronicles the changing East End landscape.
Seelbach and Szoka are both Sag Harbor residents. They will take questions from listeners during the program.
Hosted by Bob DeLuca, the president of the Group for the East End, Going Green will broadcast live from the Southampton studio at 11:07 a.m. Friday, January 31, on 88.3 FM and peconicpublicbroadcasting.org.
