Father's Day Dining, Beer, Wine Specials on the East End
Father’s Day weekend is here and plenty of East End restaurants and vineyards are celebrating on Sunday, June 15.
Stop by Rowdy Hall in East Hampton for pints of select beer, at happy hour prices all day, paired well with items from the snack menu including Buffalo deviled eggs topped with chicken crackling and Rowdy Buffalo wings.
La Fondita is offering guests the option to create their own taco packages. The assemble-at-home meal includes 12 homemade soft-corn tortillas, one quart of your favorite filling, lettuce, crema, cheese, cilantro, and onions plus a quart of rice and a pint of black beans.

Nick & Toni’s is serving a steak-for-two (or one hungry dad) special that includes a 32-ounce Painted Hills ribeye with grilled local asparagus and wood-oven roasted North Fork mushrooms paired with a complimentary glass of wine. Navy Beach is offering dads a complimentary Bloody Mary or Budweiser with lunch beginning at noon.
Harbor Bistro is serving a “Big Daddy” specials board that includes selection of: 2-pound lobsters, 24-ounce cowboy steak, 12-ounce. filet mignon and half- or full-rack of Mongolian BBQ ribs.
Jedediah Hawkins in Jamesport serves dinner Thursday through Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. Menu items include: seared Hudson Valley foie gras with pineapple-rhubarb chutney and toasted brioche; parsnip gnocchi with English peas and Parmesan Reggiano; Berkshire pork ragu with herb risotto, asparagus and wild mushrooms; tile fish with French lentils, beet greens, and pineapple agrodulce; and a salted caramel brownie sundae for two and chocolate torte.
Sotto Sopra in Amagansett is serving dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Select menu items include: tuna tartare, flaked tuna, avocado mousse and sesame-crusted wontons; caprese salad, burrata, slice tomato and basil oil; primavera pizza, sautéed vegetables, dried tomatoes and mozzarella; rigatoni Toscano, roasted tomato sauce, sausage and broccoli rabe; zuppa di pesce, lobster, shrimp, clams, mussels, tomato sauce and basil aioli; porca al forno, grilled pork chop, sage and mustard mashed potatoes and poaches raisins; and pollo arrosito, roasted chicken breast, pancetta and seared corn.
Outerbanks Restaurant & Bar at Riverhead’s Indian Island Golf Course is celebrating Father’s Day with a bit of golf and dinner. After 3 p.m. on Sunday, there will be live music from Island Time, as well as steak and brew specials for Dad. Menu items include: jumbo shrimp cocktails; skirt steak and crabbed stuffed shrimp with lobster sauce; filet mignon with brandy peppercorn sauce and egg noodles; and grilled rib eye with your choice of a pint of beer.
Dockers Waterside in East Quogue is offering a Lobsterbake Special on Sunday between 3 and 6 p.m. The special includes a salad alongside the lobsterbake dinner, and live music starts at 6 p.m. Sag Harbor’s the Bell & Anchor will have their weekly Sunday special: Montauk Pearl Oysters for just $1 all night. And in Hampton Bays, Sunday’s on the Bay will celebrate with a Twin Lobster Night, which includes two 1-¼ pound lobsters and corn, as well as deals on the restaurant’s domestic beer pitchers and wings.
A few wineries are also celebrating Father’s Day with special deals.
On Sunday, from 2 to 5 p.m., Sparkling Pointe Vineyards & Winery in Southold will be selling tickets that include a glass of sparkling wine or beer; a pint glass to take home; BBQ food catered by The Kitchen at Waterside Caterers; and unlimited non-alcoholic Birch Beer.
From 1 to 5 p.m., there will be live music at Jamesport Vineyards, where dads can also enjoy a home cooked BBQ dinner paired with the vineyard’s own wine and beer from Greenport Harbor Brewery.
Also on Father’s Day, from 2 to 4 p.m., Waters Crest Winery in Cutchogue will have wine, tap beer from Greenport Harbor Brewing Co., and sliders from chef Tom Fazio.
