Yale Law School Library associate director Fred Shapiro has released his annual list of the most notable quotes, and a number of Hamptons fans made the list.

Hamptons visitor Hillary Clinton actually got on the list twice, at number 6 and tied for number 10.

“We came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt,” Clinton told ABC News on June 9, refering to her and husband Bill Clinton‘s financial state when he left the office of president.

Then in an August 10 Atlantic Online interview, Clinton said, “Great nations need organizing principles, and ‘Don’t do stupid stuff’ is not an organizing principle.” She was referring to President Barack Obama‘s foreign policy doctrine.

Amagansett residents Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin‘s now-infamous statement on about their seperation was number 9. “We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner,” the March 25 statement read.

In a three-way tie for number 10, Hamptons visitor Joe Biden is quoted saying, “Isn’t it a bitch? I mean, … this vice president thing?”

The vice president of the U.S. was responding to the student body vice president at Harvard College on October 2.
