Montauk Concert Schedule for Memorial Day Weekend and All Summer 2015

Starting this weekend for Memorial Day, your favorite Montauk hot spots have planned a summer jam-packed with live music and performances. Here’s a roundup of where to catch some of the bands that are making their way to The End this summer.

The Surf Lodge (183 Edgemere Street) begins their annual concert series with live music scheduled throughout Memorial Day weekend. Performances start with Mac Demarco on Friday, May 22 at 7 p.m., followed by Escort on Saturday, May 23 at 7 p.m., Capital Cities on Sunday, May 24 at 7 p.m., and Tove Lo with Halsey on Monday, May 25 at 5p.m.
The 2015 concert series continues with weekend performances at 7 p.m. throughout the summer. This summer’s lineup consists of Avan Lava, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Corby, The Flaming Lips, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Alvvays, Benjamin Booker, Ryn Weaver, The Allah-Las and the White Buffalo, Jon Josiah of the Head and the Heart, The Growlers, St Lucia, Tuxedo, Leon Bridges, Sylvan Esso, Wolf Alice, ASTR, Delta Spirit, tUnE-yArDs, MOTHXR, Donovan Frankenreiter, Jack Garratt, BØRNS, The Joy Formidable, and Wild Belle. The Montauk Chamber of Commerce sponsors free concerts in a series called Concerts on the Green (742 Montauk Highway). Concerts run from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday nights through August. Performers include The Feinberg Bros, Nancy Atlas, Mike and Friends, Job Potter & Friends, and one final performance to be announced. Don’t forget to catch the Chamber’s Stars Over Montauk fireworks show on July 4 at 9 p.m. Fireworks can be viewed from any town beach. Backyard Restaurant at Solé East (90 Second House Road) is celebrating Memorial Day weekend with music, Sunday brunch, lunch, and dinner from Thursday to Sunday. The celebration kicks off on Thursday, May 21 with a performance by reggae favorite Winston Irie and the Selective Security Band at 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday showcase DJ Faze, with 10 p.m. performances on both nights and a special poolside show on Saturday afternoon from 1 to 6 p.m. Enjoy a Jazz and Bosso Nova Brunch on Sunday, May 24 with music by Ludmilla and Marcello from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Relax poolside in the afternoon with DJ VH1 from 2 to 6 p.m. or see the night performance at 10 p.m.

Navy Beach (16 Navy Road) holds Sunset Sets every week through the summer season. The live musical talent will feature reggae sets with Winston Irie and Twister, as well as local artist Nancy Atlas. The Sloppy Tuna (148 South Emerson Ave) will host The Bobby Nathan Band on Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day. Other live performances for the summer include The Lone Sharks on Sunday, June 21 and Sunday, July 26, as well as Remember September on Sunday, July 19.

Ruschmeyers (161 Second Street) offers live music and dancing at the Electric Eel bar every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m., starting Friday, May 22.
