THURSDAY, AUGUST 20: The Montauk Farmers Market is held weekly on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the village green. Over 30 vendors participate in the Market, offering locally-sourced fresh produce, baked goods, gourmet specialties, cut flowers, wines and more. Proceeds benefit the Montauk Food Pantry. 21st Annual Juried Fine Art Show
FRIDAY, AUGUST 14: Artists from across America and overseas will be traveling to The End this weekend for one of Long Island’s top fine art festivals, The Montauk Show on the Green. Providing essential support for the Montauk Artists’ Association, this art fair features original creations in painting, sculpting, jewelry, photography, glass, ceramics, fiber and wearable art, mixed-media, woodworking and more. Attendees will enjoy the rare opportunity to talk with the artists creating the work on display. The Montauk Show on the Green will be held between Friday, August 14 and Sunday, August 16. The fair will run until 6 p.m. each day, starting at noon on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Located on the Montauk Village Green. Admission is free. Held rain or shine.

Lighthouse Weekend
SATURDAY, AUGUST 15: This weekend is Lighthouse Weekend at the Montauk Point Lighthouse. On Saturday, August 15, from 10:30 a.m.–7 p.m. and Sunday, August 16, from 10:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., visit the lighthouse for arts and crafts, demonstrations, and events including a book signing by historian Henry Osmers, author of On Eagle’s Beak: A History of the Montauk Lighthouse, face painting, leather crafting, trap fishing, and more. Admission is $9 for adults (ages 13 to 61), $8 for senior citizens, and $4 for children. Children under 41 inches in height are admitted free but are not permitted to climb the tower nor to be carried up the tower. The Montauk Point Lighthouse is located at 2000 Montauk Highway.
