Author Talk: “Immigrant Dreams” by Barbara Goldowsky

Join the East Hampton Library for an Author Talk with Barbara Goldowsky.

Born in Germany, Barbara came to the United States in 1950 as a fourteen-year-old. In 1985, she became a freelance contributor to the Southampton Press, writing articles about the arts and reviews of books, music, and theater. She produced and hosted radio programs that featured interviews with writers and poets for WPBX, then the radio station of Southampton College — now Stony Brook Southampton. She also hosted a weekly classical music program for the station.

Immigrant Dreams was finished during the pandemic and published in August 2020. Previous books include Ferry to Nirvana and New Poems, Restless Spirits, The Tuesday Night Ballroom, and Peace of the Hamptons.
