Jazz on the Terrace: Hector Martignon and the Foreign Affair Quartet

Enjoy a special evening of Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, and South American Jazz from the twice Grammy-nominated, Colombian-born, New York-based musician, Hector Martignon and the Foreign Affair Quartet. Martignon has composed, orchestrated, produced, performed and recorded music in a wide spectrum of genres, from classical and crossover, to jazz and world music, to rock and pop. Of his five solo CDs and two as co-leader (Mozart’s Blue Fantasies and Bach’s Secret Files) the latest two (Refugee, 2008, and Second Chance, 2010) were nominated for Grammy Awards.
Delicious food and specialty drinks will be available for purchase from the Café. Bring a lawn chair for the Mildred C. Brinn Terrace or blanket for the Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley Foundation Event Lawn and soak in the last moments of summer!

Table Seating is reserved for Golden Pear Cafe patrons so guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the live music from the terrace and lawn.

All summer concerts are free with Museum admission and take place rain or shine.
